| Petition Text: | Depo Provera is a hormonal contraceptive birth control injection that is injected every 12 weeks, although it has some good advantages the Depo Provera has more disadvantages then not. Time and time again women's bodies continue to be destroyed by the Depo Provera. Some side effects include extreme irregular bleeding, loss of bone density, serious weight loss/gain, severe anxiety, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, noisy breathing, yellowing of the skin, vision changes, loss of or slow returning fertility and in some cases the loss of an unborn child after using the Depo Provera injection. They are some of many of the side effects of the Depo Provera which many women are suffering because of today. It is not recommended for the Depo Provera to be given after 2 years of use but yet it is given to many women for years, which caused life changing effects to some women coming off the drug. The Depo Provera is a toxic drug that should not be administered to women as it a lot of the effects are irreversible and not properly talked about. |
