Submissions should be sought from members of the public, experts, and businesses on the potential applications and uses for hemp.
Some Irish and international research in the area already shows massive potential in the areas of construction, biomass energy, health foods, textiles and much more.
By undertaking a thorough public consultation process the government may come to the conclusion that a domestic hemp industry is worthy of capital investment and promotion. |
