The Petitions Process discriminates against those from certain personality types. It unfairly gives those with the loudest voice the biggest advantage. It may be easy for those who are more popular to garner support for their most frivolous notions, whereas the introvert may find it difficult to muster the support for the most thought out plans. Throughout history, it is often the 'nerd' that comes up with the best inventions, discoveries or ideas.
Furthermore, in the days Facebook and other social media, petition signing has become a farce. |
