Teideal na hAchainí:Petition for exemption from audit for small grassroots members driven volunteer political parties

Téacs na hAchainí:Petition to have exemption from volunteer run grassroots political party bodies whose incomes are far below, typically 10% below the relevant amounts - and who do not have a formal membership; who otherwise have to have unpaid volunteers share the costs or fund-raise to get money to pay for auditing to show typically under €5000 a year income - (often below or around 1% of that) that seems to be opposite to the intention of the aim, to show donors who would want cash for access. The idea that political parties without paid membership run by volunteers would need to get an audit to prove what they pay of their own costs at so small a level have to spend much more to get an audit often in tens or hundred times the amount they would otherwise get, is plainly completely and utterly oxymoronic to the spirit and intent for what it was designed - to show large cash donors to political; parties to which cash for access could be implied; why punish bodies whose modus operandi in every fibre of our being is free and democratic participatory grass-roots activism is directly opposite to big business interest and commercially funded in-your-face opposition campaigns?
